Sore every Monday? A short note from Dr. Abby for active adults, and what mainstream health sources say about weekend soreness and injuries.

This is for you if

  • You work all week and play hard on the weekend
  • You're sore after every Saturday game, match or round
  • You've started dreading the aftermath
Her note

Is it normal to hurt after every weekend?

Pain after every weekend doesn't have to be your normal.

We help active adults figure out exactly what's going on and build a plan to address it, so you can keep doing the things you love without dreading the aftermath.

Before you book

What happens when you come in?

A first visit opens with a movement assessment: us watching you move before we put hands on you. It's the first part of your first visit, not a separate appointment. Care is one-on-one, in visits of 30-60 minutes.

More on how we work with athletes is on sports injury rehab. Dr. Abby's other notes: proactive vs reactive healthcare and can bad posture be fixed?
